Nadine & Mr. Bluebell
Nadine & Mr.Bluebell is a children’s book written and illustrated by me during my book illustration course. The story talks about an innocent incident that happened to me as a little kid.
Beginning at one of my very first earliest memory as a 4 year old, I was in a car with my sister and a very special person in my life gave me a Duck toy. As all kids there was always a favourite toy between a big pile of other toys in the house. No matter how expensive, shiny and colorful these toys are, this duck toy meant everything to me. I named him Mr. Bluebell.

The book presents my day to day life with Mr. Bluebell. How I took him with me everywhere I go and how he got lost in silly places around the house. Until one day he got lost for a long time and I couldn’t find him anywhere.
Few years later, I was on a trip to Europe to attend a Carnival parade. The people who were marching in the middle of the streets threw toys and sweets at the audience. All of a sudden I felt something hitting my in the head. Therefore I see my Mr. Bluebell! my dearest childhood toy on the ground waiting for me to pick it up and bring it back home.
